Farinera Coromina, Once Again Supporting the Spanish Panettone Team

From October 13 to 17, 2025, Verona (Italy) will host a new edition of the Panettone World Cup by teams, and Spain is once again among the top favorites. At Farinera Coromina, we are honored to sponsor, once again, the national team, made up of some of the country’s most outstanding bakers and pastry chefs.

The team will be led by Ton Cortés, current individual world champion in traditional panettone, alongside Viena Campos, Miguel Castro, and Ayose Valiente. Coaches Daniel Jordà and Jesús Machi will be accompanying them, with Carlos Mariel as team manager.

A Championship that Combines Tradition, Technique, and Innovation

The competition will bring together teams from 12 countries, each of which must present three types of panettone: the classic Italian, a chocolate version, and a free creation using local ingredients. In addition, each team will decorate panettones previously made in their home country.

For Spain, this event represents an opportunity to consolidate its position as one of the international leaders in artisanal panettone. The team has been training intensely over the past few months.

Commitment to Craftsmanship and Artisan Talent

At Farinera Coromina, we believe in the value of those who work every day to elevate artisanal baking, which is why we are proud to support the Spanish team in this international challenge. Supporting these professionals means continuing to invest in quality, innovation, and excellence in our craft.

Good luck, team. You have all our support from home.
